Getting ready for France

We have been in Cork for the last two weeks.  I celebrated my birthday and the kids have been enjoying school and the city. We head to France tomorrow for a week.  I am really excited this will be my first time there.

We had to go to city hall and it just happen to be next to the fire house.  Harrison got invited in, and was given a full tour.

Doonbeg

Chris' parents John and Kathy made a visit!  We were in Cork for two days and then headed west.  We rented an Airbnb in Doonbeg.  It was on the coast and in the middle of nowhere!
On our way to Doonbeg we went back thru Killarney, made a quick stop at the Muckross house and the Lake hotel for lunch before stopping at the woollen mills for some blankets

West Kerry, Derrynane

We rented a car and got out of the city last weekend.  We drove about two and a half hours southwest.  This was Chris' first time driving here and it was a little crazy.  The coastline of Ireland is amazing.  The Derrynane beach was one of the most breathtaking I have ever been on...
This was our car... Perfect for Ireland!
The Derrynane house had a fairy trail which was a highlight...
And the Darrynane beach
We are loving the adventures and are looking forward to Chris' parents arriving here on Monday.  We will rent a van and head northwest.
